The 2005 National Jamboree patch shown above has the five segments or rockers patches (forming a ring) that the youth must earn. By attending specific events and participation in certain activities, the youth may earn the rockers to surround their 2010 National Jamboree Patch the same way. Each scout will receive an official small National Jamboree pocket book (like a passport) that will be on their person at all times wherever they may go. This book is designed to collect the stamps or markers from each Action Center, Outback Center, or Activity that they personally attend and participate in. A set requirement from a number of areas must be accomplished, stamped, and signed. The rocker patches serve as awards for the scout that completes the set of requirements for each rocker. Our troop will try to earn the top two rockers; 5K Run & Duty to God by attending those events as a troop at their assigned times. The scouts are individually responsible for the rest.
