WELCOME

2010 National Jamboree Troop 1203 - Great Lakes Council - BSA

"Representing the finest Scouts within Great Lakes Council"

Great Lakes Council, Boy Scouts of America

We celebrated 100 years of Scouting in style at the 2010 National Jamboree. The 2010 National Jamboree was held on Monday, July 26, through Wednesday, August 4, 2010, at Fort A.P. Hill, Caroline County, Virginia.

Our council Jamboree Committee organized a fun tour of Washington D.C. prior to our arrival at the National Jamboree. We departed for Washington D.C. on Thursday July 22, 2010 and returned home from the National Jamboree tired, healthy, and happy on August 4, 2010.

We met and made new Scouting friends from all over the world. We brought home with us the fond and dear memories that will last a lifetime!

God bless National Jamboree Troop 1203,

This Council Shoulder Patch (CSP) shown above will be replaced with the Great Lakes Council - Troop 1203 Jamboree Shoulder Patch (JSP) shown below. Our Troop 1203 has been asssigned the Chevy Silverado (White border) JSP. Our Scouts wore their specially-designed JSPs on their uniforms for all Jamboree meetings/events.

The other four contingent troop patches look like...

(The center patch was a bonus patch only meant to be worn as a back patch on a jacket)

Each colored segment represented one of the contingent troops.

The new 2010 National Jamboree Troop 1203 center patch design...

Designed and submitted by the Scouts, the new designs will represent us at the National Jamboree 2010.
